SIM trading was a growing trend among a small number of O2’s customer base. But while these unofficial traders were profiting, O2 had yet to harness its potential by exploring how to increase the income stream for all the parties involved.
We created ‘Star Trader’, an invitation-only online club that gave these entrepreneurs their very own channel to order extra SIMs through and be rewarded for every onward activation.
The 100% self-service platform we developed included fast-track ordering, a £5 reward per activation, intelligent eCRM and the ability to track progress and income online. We also drove participation further by identifying key traders and incentivising them to target and train new recruits.
